If...

If life followed us, stead of us follow life
and ebb with the tide?
Cease longing and craving for things that are afar.
If we can be happy when dispossessed cause we never owned them to begin with?
Would then ,life be happier than now?

A bird in hand is worth two in the bush !!! Why hanker for something we don't know anything about and give up something with which we are familiar ?

Things happen when least expected.

You get hold of things when you least want them....

That way, let it go and it comes back to you :-)

The word ‘if’ automatically brings a name… Rudyard Kipling … I thought the post had something to do with that ‘if’ …..
Not everything is in our hands ha? Life is like that.. :P

You seem to be on your way to the spiritual heights.

Anil ,you amaze me with your writings and thoughts.I believe in appreciating and treasuring what we already have and also in working for the dreams that we have.If we succeed ,well and good .If not, move on !

Where had I recently read that instead of searching for happiness, we should let happiness find us? Our possessions, whether they are books or gold bricks, we love them for two reasons; for being what they are and for being ours. we have to just love them for being them; to detach ourselves from our possessions is to detach us from ourselves, which is what they have been telling us. Brooding. Beautiful.

@ amalg999
Did you feel I hankered? I dont think I did. Well!

@ Insignia
Yes you are right, it is foolish to cling like a limpet, though tenacity may be good at times.

@ Deeps
Not too familiar with Kipling. And yes not all are in our hands, in fact nothing.

Happiness is not waiting at the end of the road.Learn to take it all along,in tiny bites, and relish.

@ Dr Antony

Waiting a lonely wait at the end of the road and then we notice that "happiness" took another road on it's way!!!!!
