Fear

To close ones eyes and wish it is dark
To wish it is dark cos of the fright to face light.
Run away in fear from dedications ethical
cos love for self is the volition of  heart and soul.

To live in fear of  reality that stares
And close ones eyes to values that must be held dear.
Fear the present and bury the future
And endure in fear of the ghost of ones past.

Oh eternal misery are such lives unto the grave.

Fear robs you of hope, confidence and takes away the inner strength.

Whats worse than clinging on to it and this forgetting to live?

"To close once eyes" - I assume its "one's" eyes?

@ insignia
I m quite bad at proof reading. Even with the help of reviews on the "Office" . Thanks for mentioning the error.
I do not know if I was able enough to convey the message. The fear I mentioned was out of the guilt of running away from commitments , duties and moral principles. And living with it.

Oh yes! You did convey it right. I just extended my views on fear :-)

Dey, I suggest you download Wordweb (free). It will be better you first wrote in Word, corrections and alterations later, publish it in the blog. Errors can be jarring.

Frankly, didn't like the poem. Too morbid. It must be the tough times that makes you write like this. But tell you what, writing sure lessens the pain.

@Bals,
ye noted your observations. I myself was not happy with those lines.
