Morbidity

When the mind is morbid, thoughts that are pleasant seldom occur
The wonder that things around are,are seldom seen.
In fact the wonder that things around are,
were placed for us –
to untangle from the embrace of  morbidity of the mind!
Isn't it so?

Were they? No, I don't think so. Your thoughts are yours, so that's fine. Only in a pleasant state of mind would you be pleased, would you be aware of the things. The wonderful things around us are wonderful to us only when we are feeling wonderful.

The brain is very good at playing tricks on us especially when we’re down. It seems to always pick out the worst bits of any situation and we tend to dwell on them.
We don't have much control over thought processes. They haunt you at times and we have to play along with them. Our appreciation of surroundings is a reflection of our mood and thought process.
"All our knowledge merely helps us to die a more painful death than animals that know nothing." Isn't it true?

When the mind is morbid we count our blessings (for the wonderful things that are already there ).But there are times when an unknown power comes forward by placing wonderful things around us to help us pull out of gloominess-i have experienced it !

Have a great Sunday Anil !
